Delores Louise Anhalt, affectionately known as "Tootie Hassman," of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away on April 26, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 94. Born on July 15, 1931, in Victor, Iowa, she was the daughter of Edward and Frances Koehn Minnaert. Delores graduated from high school in 1949 and pursued further education with a year of business studies at Warburg College. In October 1950, she married Paul Anhalt. After relocating from Tripoli, Iowa, to Arkansas in 1980, Delores made Yellville her home in 2002. Following the passing of Paul in 2006, she married Stanley Hassman on October 13, 2008, in Yellville.
A member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Delores found joy in cruising and cooking. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Stanley B. Hassman; many nieces and nephews; Stanley’s daughters, Laura (Jim) Scoville and Sarah (Brent) Dobak; and granddaughter, Taylor (Quinn) Ottwell all of Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Frances Minnaert; her first husband, Paul Anhalt; and her brother, Robert Minnaert.
A Funeral Mass to honor Delores’s life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 2, 2026, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Yellville, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CCWomen at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church or Hospice of the Ozarks. Arrangements are entrusted to Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services in Mountain Home, Arkansas. An online obituary and guestbook are available at www.kirbyandfamily.com.
