Debra Jeanne Donavon, 73, passed away on August 17, 2026 in Yellville, Arkansas. She was born on September 9, 1952 in Elgin, Illinois to James and Virginia Bradley Donavon. Debra greatly enjoyed her time caring for the horses at Hawthorne Hills Stables in Wauconda, Illinois. She lived in Arlington Heights, Illinois, until moving to Arkansas in 1999 to be closer to her mother. After moving to Arkansas, she worked at Ranger boats for two years and delivered the Baxter Bulletin in Bull Shoals and Mountain Home for many years.

Debra is survived by her sisters, Colleen (Glenn) Cerny of Mountain Home, AR, and Kim (Doug) Bride of Strongsville, OH; nephew, Casey Cherwin; and great-niece, Allison Cherwin. She is also survived by her dear friends from the Hawthorne Hills Stables, Romni (Ken) Wilkin and godson, Jason Wilkin; Kim Lewis (Edward) James and godson, Ryan Lewis; Lisa Cichy and daughter Tate; and Pat Bruno. Debra was preceded in death by her parents.
