David Gilligan

David Gilligan of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away November 16, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91. He was born February 12, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Roger and Mary Catherine Finn Gilligan. He married Dorah "Jean" Smith on September 6, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa and was a business owner of a trucking company. David lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since moving from Caufield, Missouri in 2015. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. David and Jean specialized in breeding, training, and showcasing magnificent Arabian horses.

David is survived by his children, Douglas Gilligan and Jeanette Champagne. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; brothers, William, Roger, Danny and Mike Gilligan; sisters, Anna, Gertie, Katie and Pauline Gilligan.
