Darla Faye Martin

Darla Faye Martin of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on January 17, 1956, in Glendale, Arizona, she was the daughter of Col. Jack and Juanita Kelly Denton. Darla dedicated much of her career to serving as a public relations manager for Centurytel. She made Mountain Home her home for the past 20 years after relocating from Conway, Arkansas. Above all, Darla cherished her family deeply and had a special love for her cats.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kelly (Paul) Bedard of Maumelle, Arkansas; granddaughter, Madison Tucker; grandson, Chase Bedard; and her dear friend and caregiver, Susan Buczkowicz. Darla was preceded in death by her parents, Col. Jack and Juanita Marinelle Denton; her husband, Doug Martin; and her brother, Robert Denton.

Entombment will take place at Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Mausoleum in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
