Danny Martin

Daniel Lee Martin, Jr. passed away at his home in Mountain Home, Arkansas, August 28, 2025. Born August 18, 1955 in Greenville, Texas to the late Daniel and DeLora Hutchings Martin, Danny played in a rock band for many of his younger years, and then drove for Ronnie Dowdy Trucking for decades, before buying his own rig and striking out on his own. He loved the quiet solitude of being on the road, just he and his truck, with his favorite music on the radio for hours and miles on end.

Danny was deceased by his parents, and is survived by 2 sisters: Ann Norris and husband, Jeff of Quitman, Texas and Jean League of Liberty, Missouri, along with nieces and nephews; Theron League, Lisa League, Adam Norris and Nisha Norris Wakefield, great-nieces and nephews.
