Curtis Hibbard

Mr. Hibbard was born August 19, 1924, at Mt. Holly, AR, the son of Joseph and Rebecca Chastain Hibbard. He married Mary L. Cerini on January 26, 1946 at Rose Hill, Minnesota. Mr. Hibbard was a career military veteran of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam who served in the Army and the Air Force. He retired to the Mountain Home area in 1966. He was active in the VFW #1341 and the DAV Chapter #30. He liked to fish and garden and share his crop. He loved helping others. He was a farmer, a husband, a father, a military man, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather. Survivors: Mr. Hibbard is survived by 1 son, Curtis Hibbard, Jr. of Golden, MO, 2 daughters, Pearl Matthews (Jim), of Gassville, Arkansas, Jo Ann Pierson (Michael), of Gassville, AR, 1 brother, Chester Hibbard, of Pine, AR, 4 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral: Services for Curtis Hibbard, Sr. of Gassville, AR will be private. Burial: Burial will be private.
