Connie Yvonne McCollum, aged 57, peacefully passed away on June 5, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Born on November 25, 1968, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the cherished daughter of Bob and Helen Pridmore McCollum. Throughout her life, Connie dedicated herself to her work first as a secretary and later as a certified nursing assistant. She found joy in gardening and lovingly decorated her yard for holidays. A passionate collector, Connie also treasured spending time boating, embracing the simple pleasures of life and spending time with family. 

Connie is remembered by her mother, Helen McCollum of Mountain Home, Arkansas; her sons, Justin McCollum of Streamwood, Illinois, and Nico Bustamante of Jacksonville, Arkansas; her brothers, Paul McCollum of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Robert (Jane) McCollum of Melrose Park, Illinois; and her sisters, Sherry (Bill) Bentel of Villa Park, Illinois, and Kathy (Ron) Boldebuck of Addison, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob McCollum, and her brother, Mickey McCollum. 

A visitation to honor Connie's memory will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Joshua Beers officiating. Burial will follow at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
