Carol Frances Lewis, 92, passed away on September 24, 2026 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born on July 20, 1934 in Hillsboro, Ohio, to Frank Sparger and Irene Dunsieth Ross. She married Bernard Lewis on August 7, 1955 in Los Angeles, California and was an accountant. Carol was a member of Hill 'n' Hollow Quilter's Guild and enjoyed designing and creating many quilts over the years and sharing them with her many guild friends.

Carol is survived by her nephew, William F. "Bill" Porter of Colorado Springs, Colorado; niece, Betty M. Long of Battle Mountain, Nevada; niece, Nancy Albanese of Newark, Ohio; and nephew, Brian Owen of Hebron, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Frank Ross; husband, Bernie Lewis; and sisters, Mary Porter and Harriett Owen.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Home with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Entombment will follow at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
