Billy Ray Martin of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 73. He was born June 6, 1952 in Mount Vernon, Illinois, the son of Delbert and Pat Thomas Martin. Bill was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. After his time in the service, he spent over 30 years as a truck driver. Bill lived in Mountain Home since moving from Aurora, Illinois in 1992. He was a member of the Mountain Home Church of Christ. Bill was very proud of his children and grandchildren and openly bragged about them to anyone who would listen. He shared his deep love for nature and fishing with everyone especially his grandsons. Bill was a friend to all, always lending a hand or a car ride as he was able.

Bill is survived by his wife, Kari Martin of the home; daughter, Christie Martin of West Dundee, IL; son, Corey (Angie Jones) Saylor of Gassville, AR; daughter, Emily (Christopher Jolly) Saylor of Scottville, MI; four grandchildren, Brianna Adams, Cayden Jones, Blayne Saylor, and Jaxxon Jones; five brothers, Terry (Hannah) Martin, Jake (Linda) Martin, Mark Martin, David (Nina) Martin, and Steve (Alisha Rice) Martin; and one sister Debbie (Skip) Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Pat Martin; and two brothers, Chuck and Jeff Martin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28th at 1:00 pm, in the fellowship hall at the Mountain Home Church of Christ.
