Beverly K Downs

Beverly K. Downs of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on February 19, 1956, in Hamilton, Ohio, Beverly was the beloved daughter of Ralph and Kathryn Winter Downs. Her early career included work at a glass shop in Eaton, Ohio, before she moved to Arkansas in 1987. Beverly’s journey in Arkansas began in Pyatt, followed by Fairview, and ultimately Mountain Home, where she made her home. She dedicated many years to service at Baxter Health, formerly known as Baxter Regional Medical Center, and later contributed her care and compassion through positions with the Area Agency on Aging and Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. Most recently, she was a cashier at Walmart. Beverly was a devoted member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. She cherished reading, solving puzzles, and traveling-activities that brought her great joy throughout her life. She was known for her smile and her whit. She loved and collected everything Garfield and Grumpy. She especially loved to watch the Cincinnati Bengals play - "Who dey".

Beverly is lovingly remembered by her best friend, Pam Fenton of Mountain Home, Arkansas; her siblings Ralph (Teresa) Downs, Vickie (David) Hoff, John Downs, Judy Downs, Kim (Tim) Maddock, and Cindy Minor; her children Elizabeth, Jessie, and Daniel Kepler; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is further survived by her Arkansas family that treated her as one of their own. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 11, 2026, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, with Father Norbert Rappold officiating. In honor of Beverly’s memory, donations may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
