Bennie Pete Hall was born August 14, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the son of Charles and Pearl Palmer Hall. He was a dental technician and an Army veteran of the 101th Airborne. He lived in Norfork, Arkansas since moving from Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2000.
