Barbara Lylette Smith of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away May 1, 2026, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 63. She was born May 5, 1962, in Richmond, Virginia, the daughter of Lyle and Barbara Jean Smith. She began her career as an EMT and later became a paramedic and a registered nurse. Barbara lived in Flippin since moving from St. Matthews, South Carolina in 1994. She enjoyed fishing, singing music, and making people laugh.

Barbara is survived by her sons, James Clint Cain of Las Vegas, NV, and Cody Allyn Cain of Prarie Grove, Arkansas; and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
