Arthur "Chop" Manley Clark of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on July 14, 1933, in National City, California, he was the son of Arthur and Delphine Detwiler Clark. Arthur proudly served in the U.S. Army, dedicating his life to his country. In 1958 he married Gail Evans in Oceanside, California, and together they built a loving family. Arthur had a 44-year career with Pacific Bell Telephone Company. In 2006, he relocated to Mountain Home where he became an active member of Mountain Home Bible Church.


In Art's early and later years, he had a reputation for his baseball talents. The community team named him "Baseball King." Later in life he tried metal detecting, square dancing, and running sound systems for the church...Too many talents to name. "Chop" was a gentle, loving husband and father.


Arthur is survived by his wife, Gail Clark of Mountain Home, AR; His sons Chip (Michelle) Clark of Menifee, CA, Lance (Katerina) Clark of San Jose, CA, and Branden Clark of Mountain Home, AR; his daughter, Brenda (Chas) Taplin of Ooltewah, TN; and nine grandchildren: Nicholas Gallegos, Kurtis Gallegos, Cameron Aspaas, Adam Aspaas, Noel Brown, Jenna Clark, Ashley Barber, Zachary Stanley and Kristina Clark, and ten great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind three sisters: June Chapman, Linda Clark Thomas and Henrietta Hank. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Lorrie Clark, and his sister, Joyce Rossi.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain Home Bible Church. The family wishes to express their gratitude for love and support shown during this time.
