Arthur Robert Beal, 91, passed away on August 10, 2026, in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Born on December 8, 1934, in St. Louis County, Missouri, Arthur was the son of Arthur Antone and Ruth Ada (Loosemore) Beal.

Arthur proudly served in the United States Navy, working as an aircraft engine mechanic during his time in the service. His career path reflected his adventurous spirit and strong work ethic. He served as a police officer in both Alaska and Pagedale, Missouri, later becoming a liquor salesman in St. Louis. His love for Alaska eventually drew him back, where he spent seven years working on the Alaskan oil pipeline.

A true entrepreneur, Arthur pursued several business ventures throughout his life, including owning restaurant and bars, operating Earth Surf Skateboard Park, and running Premo Select Executive Transportation. In 2000, he made Mountain Home, Arkansas his home where he retired with Roberta.

Arthur married Roberta Annette Alt on June 16, 2003, in Mountain Home. Together, they enjoyed traveling the United States in their RV, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors. Arthur especially loved sightseeing, fishing, boating, and the natural beauty of the Bull Shoals Lake area.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Roberta Annette Beal; his son, Jeff Beal of St. Charles, Missouri; his daughters, Lynn Beal of St. Peters, Missouri, and Belinda Beal of Crestone, Colorado, Allison Edwards of Clifton Park, New York ; and his grandchildren, Travis Beal, Lane Miller, Sean Manley, Mellissa LaCrosse, and Taylor MacDougall
