Alta passed away December 17, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. She was born June 28, 1925, in Wood River, Illinois, the daughter of Eslie and Clarida Clark Carpenter Tarrant. She married Lewis E. Haas on May 7, 1969, at Chicago, Illinois and worked as a switchboard operator for Motorola.
Alta is survived by her sister, Doris Cottingham of Brighton, IL and one grandchild, Lynette Evers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Terry D. Seago.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
