Willis John Johnson

Willis John Johnson of Elizabeth, Arkansas, passed away April 20, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 89. He was born December 26, 1928, in Minong, Wisconsin, the son of Emmard and Emma Brisk Johnson. He married JoAnne Johnson on August 8, 1953, in Minnesota and was a machinist. Willis was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Willis lived in Elizabeth since 2010.

Willis is survived by his wife, JoAnne Johnson of Elizabeth, AR; son, Wayne (Karen) Johnson of Elizabeth, AR; four grandchildren, Emily (Stewart) Bartz, Ashley Mosley, Corey (Que) Mosley, and Michael (Monique) Mosley; great-granddaughter, Makenna, two brothers, Howard Johnson, and Art (Bertha) Johnson; many nieces and nephews; and his dog and best friend, Bella.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lloyd and Clarence Johnson; and sister, Leona Williams.

Funeral Services for Willis John Johnson of Elizabeth, Arkansas, will be private.

Memorials may be made to Veteran Affairs Association.
