Wayne Edwin Hardin

Wayne Edwin Hardin of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away June 8, 2022, in Lakeview, Arkansas at the age of 91. He was born May 17, 1931, in Hunt, Texas, the son of Lafayette Lee and Fannie Isabelle DuBose Hardin. He married Carol Noel on August 23,1958 in Kerrville, Texas. Wayne was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked as a broadcast engineer. He lived in Lakeview since moving from Austin, Texas in 2008. Wayne enjoyed amateur radio and fishing.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Carol Hardin of Lakeview, AR; daughters, Julie (Jimmy) Mercer of Midway, AR and Lisa (David) Turner of Greenbrier, AR; grandson, Adam (Elizabeth) Turner; and great-grandchildren, Eli and Adeline Turner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Grace Ellen Williams; and brothers, Jimmy, Clay, and Roger Hardin.

A Graveside Service for Wayne will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum Open-Air Chapel, with Pastor Barry Lagg officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy and Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guards.
