Wallace Oudekerk

Graveside Funeral Services for Wallace S. Oudekerk of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:30 pm, Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and United States Army Honor Guards.

Wallace passed away November 27, 2019, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 95. He was born December 19, 1923, in Rose Creek, Minnesota, the son of Henry and Anna Boelman Oudekerk. He married Myra Johnson on July 11, 1953, in North Wood, Iowa and was an X-Ray Tech. Wallace was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Wallace lived in Mountain Home since moving from Redfield, Minnesota, in 1983. He enjoyed working around the yard.

Wallace is survived by his nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; four brothers, Eldred, Henry, Gerald, and Walter; and six sisters, Jessie, Etta, Hennrietta, Elizabeth, Anna, and Geraldine.
