Viola Lynn Barnard

Viola Lynn Barnard of Gamaliel, Arkansas, passed away December 13, 2020, in Gamaliel at the age of 56. She was born July 2, 1964, in San Francisco, California, the daughter of Carmello and Mary Ianello Timpano. She married Brandon Barnard on February 13, 1993, in Nevada and was an administrative assistant for the United States government and United States Army Corps of Engineers for 15 years. She deployed three times in support of natural disaster response. Viola left a lasting imprint on the hearts of anyone that ever met her and leaves this world a better place for the love she contributed to it. Viola lived in Gamaliel since moving from Stuttgart, Germany in 2008 She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Viola is survived by her husband, Brandon Barnard of Gamaliel, AR; mother, Mary Simas; brother, Joel Timpano; two sisters, Mirella Milani and Ruby Van Dalen; and a host of friends, including, Betty Anglani and Angela Gutierrez.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carmello Timpano.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
