Stephen Foley

November 15, 1949 — January 14, 2022

Steve Foley, 72, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at home under the care of his wife and Hospice. Steve was born in St. Petersburg, FL on 11/15/1949 to Warren and Elizabeth (Lemily) Foley. He grew up in Pinellas Park, FL having many adventures with his siblings and cousins. There he met and married Anne-Marie Boisvert, his high school sweetheart on 08/09/1969. They went on to raise three children and enjoy a 52 year marriage.

After working 20 years in the specialty printing industry, the family moved to Inverness, FL where Steve started his own plant nursery. He was very active in Little League Baseball as a board member and umpire. He also umpired High School baseball and softball. The Foley home was the gathering place for the children’s friends.

In 2012, the Foleys moved to Oakland, AR where they built their forever home. Steve enjoyed fly fishing, saltwater fishing, hunting, woodcarving and most of all cooking for other people.

Steve was pre deceased by his parents, aunts and uncles, and granddaughter Amanda Wilkinson. He leaves behind his wife, Anne-Marie Foley, Oakland, AR, daughters Paula Foley, Citrus Springs, FL, Stephanie Foley, Beverly Hills, FL and son Mark Foley, Homosassa, FL. Grandchildren Thomas and Amber Wilkinson, Alexis, Ashlyn, Weston and Piper Foley. Great grandchildren Travis and Shealee Hartong and Lylah Delmain. Brother Michael (Theia) Foley, sister Susan (Stan) Schlagenhauf as well as seven cousins and his trusty canine Jasmine.

A celebration of Life will be held in April in Florida. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Baxter Regional Foundation, Mountain Home, AR.
