Shirley Faye Askeland, 96, passed away on 12/14/2020, in Rockford, Illinois. She lived in Mtn. Home, Arkansas for 32 years working at the Ramada Inn.
Shirley was born in Manitowic, Wisconsin to Oliver and Lillian (Peterson) McMullen and then was married to Preston Askeland of Edmond, Illinois.
She is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Steven (Sue) Askeland, Jeffrey Askeland, and Tammi Askeland.
Grandchildren include Sarah (Tony), Adam (Rachel), Leigh Ann (Ben), Joseph and Angel. Great grandchildren, Bella, Kayden, Lilly, Levi, Joe and Avery.
She was preceded by death by her husband Preston Terrell Askeland and son, MGySgt USMC Ret. Scott Askeland.
Graveside Funeral Funeral Service for Shirley will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 29.2020 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemtery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
