Sharon K. Geviss

September 5, 1942 — September 25, 2020

Sharon K. Geviss, 78, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, went to meet her creator on September 25, 2020. She was born September 5, 1942, in Denver, Colorado to Donald and Velma (Propes) Haverland. Sharon spent many wonderful years in the San Diego area working as a quality assurance manager for the Naval Air Rework Facility (NARF) in Coronado, CA., which is where she met Ed, who wouldn’t take ‘no’ for an answer.

Sharon led a very active life and was involved in many organizations, hosting numerous charitable events. There were many good times spent at Shrine Camp and very meaningful to her was The Order of Eastern Star where she served as Past Matron. Sharon was a great cook and loved hosting dinners. She and Ed fell in love with the serenity and quiet life of Mountain Home and began their retirement there in 2004. They joined Holy Cross Lutheran Church where Sharon became very active. She also volunteered and supported other local organizations. Some of her most treasured memories include times with family and friends as well as shopping and travelling. Wherever she went, she created many life-long friendships.
