Sara Hampton Brown

Sara Hampton Brown of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away November 24, 2020, in Ash Flat, Arkansas at the age of 87. She was born September 17, 1933, in Sandwich, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Dorothy Henning Hampton. She married Walter on June 23, 1956, in Hinckley, IL. Sara lived in Cherokee Village since moving from Nazareth, Pennsylvania, in 1988. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, who died in February.

Sara was residing at Eaglecrest Nursing home in Ash Flat, AR for the past two years where she was loved and cared for. The Brown Family thanks the staff at Eaglecrest for their dedication to both Sara and Walter.

Sara is survived by her two daughters, Jane Williams of Durango, CO, and Julia Schriner of Dumfries, VA; two sons, Walter J Brown and Andrew Brown, both of Bethlehem, PA; and many loving grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
