A Memorial Service for Ronna Louise Letterman of Joplin, Missouri, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Mountain Home Baptist Church, 1960 Glenbriar Drive, Mountain Home, Arkansas. A private family gathering for Ronna will be held at Kirby and Family Funeral Home, 600 Hospital Drive, Mountain Home, Arkansas on Saturday, January 12, 2019, prior to the memorial service.
Ronna passed away in Ripon, San Joaquin County, California. She was born August 30, 1969, in Springfield, Missouri, to Ronald Eugene Letterman and Thelma Louise Bias.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Louise and Larry Hill of Mountain Home, AR; one sister, Amy L. Smith of Springfield, MO; and maternal grandmother Thelma L. Bias of Mountain Home, AR; four aunts; one uncle; three nephews; and one niece. She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Ronald Eugene "RJ" Letterman, Jr. of Joplin, MO, and Kevin Richard Letterman of Mountain Home, AR; and grandparents Jasper and Ada Letterman and John Alogan "J.R." Bias
Ronna was an over the road truck driver for over 20 years. At the time of her death she worked for Hoosier Air Transport of Indiana. While delivering a load to California, she passed away in her tractor/trailer rig in California. She was flown back to Arkansas by her family with help from many friends. Her Memorial Service and her cremation will be in care of Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services. Service was coordinated with California by Kirby and Family Funeral Home, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
The family deeply appreciates the help from family, friends, and other truckers that offered their assistance in this time of need.
