Ronald "Ron" Tabor

Ronald "Ron" Ray Tabor of Cotter, Arkansas, passed away July 23, 2022, in Cotter, Arkansas at the age of 84. He was born May 3, 1938, in Monticello, Illinois, the son of Troy and Nina Wolfe Tabor. He married his high school sweetheart, Merna Moefield on March 9, 1957, in Monticello, Illinois and worked as a service technician for Sears. Ron lived in Cotter, Arkansas since moving from Colorado, in 1973. He was a member of the Retreads Motorcycle Club. Ron had a passion for traveling with his wife, Merna. They rode their motorcycle over 300,000 miles together and visited 48 of the United States.

Ron is survived by his wife, Merna Tabor of Cotter, AR; children; Christine Ann Simmons; Daniel Ray Tabor; Charles L. Tabor, and Katherine E. Tabor; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Dr Richard Tabor, and Chuck Tabor.
