Rico Laidler

Rico William Laidler of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, passed away March 20, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 66. He was born February 16, 1956, in Germany, the son of George and Herta Laidler. Rico was a veteran of the Canadian Army, where he served as a sniper. He worked in the Canadian Federal Corrections until he retired. He married Dana Cook on August 6, 1998, in Chilliwack, BC, Canada. He enjoyed competitive shooting and hunting.

Rico is survived by his wife, Dana Cook of Mountain Home, AR; son, Corey (Brianna) Laidler of Rosedale, BC; daughter, Nadine Laidler of Riverview, NB; daughter, Rowan Laidler of Mountain Home, AR; son, John-Carl Laidler of Mountain Home, AR; mother, Herta Laidler of Coldstream, BC; two grandchildren, Logan and Lawson.

He was preceded in death by his father, George R Laidler.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held in Canada at a later date.
