Richard Allen Lane

Richard Allen Lane of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away August 14, 2022, in Lakeview, AR at the age of 68. He was born June 14, 1954, in South Bend, IN, the son of Donald and Loretta Lane. He married Penny Harter on May 13, 1988 in Des Moines, Iowa. Richard was a commercial plumber by trade. He lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since moving from Grinnell, Iowa in 1998. Richard was a friend of Bill W. and operated D.D.A.D.S out of his love of helping others. He enjoyed spending time on the lake with family and friends and fishing. Richard never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone he met.

Richard is survived by his Best Friend/Life Partner, Penny Lane; Daughter Jessica Lane of AR; Sons, Jacob (Alyssa) Lane of KY and Joe Lionetti of AR; Step-Mother, Sue Erdman; Sisters, Lori Lane and Lynn Law of WI; Grandson, Jax Lane, Mother-in-law, Sondra Harter of AR, Brother-in-Law, Jeff (Robin) Harter of IA; and many Neices and Nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Jennifer Lane; brother, Donald and two sisters, Pat and Joyce; Father-in-Law, Jack Harter.


A Celebration of Life will be 2PM, Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Mike and Linda Porting's property at 5290 Highway 178 in Lakeview, AR with Celebrant Heather Marsalis officiating.
