Richard Warren Jannick

Richard Warren Jannick of Jordan, Arkansas, passed away August 28, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 78. He was born on December 16, 1943, in Saint Louis, Missouri the son of Richard and Florence West Jannick. He married Rosalee Thompson just after midnight on January 1, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Richard was an IT manager for Abbott Laboratories. He served in the U.S. Navy and received a National Defense Service medal and Vietnam Service medal. Richard was passionate about the Baxter Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. He served as a volunteer in the cafeteria and The Bargain Box, and eventually served on the BRMC Auxiliary board as President.

Richard is survived by his wife, Rosalee Jannick of Jordan, AR; sister, Donna Rapisarda; brother, Robert Jannick; and step-sons, Duane Bronson and Darren Bronson; and eight grandchildren (soon to be nine).

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 1:00 - 3:00 pm, with Military Honors at 2:00pm, Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the U.S. Navy and Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guards. Burial will be 2:15 pm, Friday, September 16, 2022 in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, in St. Louis, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation.
