Peggy Lenard

Peggy J Lenard of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away August 11, 2022, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 86. She was born March 1, 1936, in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Clyde and Golda Clark Bechtel. She married Gerry Lenard on September 12, 1970 in Des Moines, Iowa. Peggy was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Lakeview, Arkansas. She enjoyed talking on the phone, watching her Westerns, and volunteering at the Baxter Regional Mountain Home Bargain Box.

Peggy is survived by her son, Steve (Jessica) Marshall; grandchildren, Ryan and Austin Marshall; stepdaughter, Marvis Baehr; and step-grandchildren, Betsy and Bobby Baehr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Patty, Betty, and Bub.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel - Mountain Home, Arkansas with Reverend Pat Norris officiating. Inurnment will follow at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church of Lakeview, Arkansas.
