Patricia Strong

Patricia Hofmann Strong of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away February 28, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85. She was born October 13, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Norbert and Eva Hofmann. She married John Strong on October 16, 1961, in Belding, Michigan. She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, and fishing. John always thought of Pat as an unpretentious person; modest and always supporting. She traveled with John all over the world, while he worked in the oil industry, and was always able to make friends wherever they went, becoming active within the community they lived in. Pat lived in Mountain Home since moving from Houston, Texas, in 1999. She was a member of the Master Gardeners and was active with the Van Matre Senior Center.

Patricia is survived by her husband, John Strong of Mountain Home, AR; son, Mark Strong; and two grandchildren, Kevin and Alexandra. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Craig Strong; and three brothers, Larry, Mike, and Richard.

Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Maynard Bend Cemetery, Gamaliel, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
