Michelle Alma Cox of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away February 20, 2022, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 50. She was born June 4, 1971, in Kern Valley, California, the daughter of Joe and Glenda Gean Hearn Goodwin. She married the late Daniel Keith Cox on April 19, 2015 in Paragould, Arkansas and worked as a Registered Nurse. Michelle lived in Gassville since moving from Oran, Missouri in 2018. Michelle loved to decorate for the holidays, and was known for baking famous family recipes. She enjoyed going on trips with family to the zoo and water parks, taking pictures of her children along the way, and poking fun at them for getting older. Michelle is survived by her mother, Glenda Gean Hearn; daughters, Jessica Tyrone McCurdy of Gassville, AR and Kaitlyn Paul of Green Forest, AR; sister Joann Goodwin Prather of Durango, CO; and grandchildren, Hayden Scott, Alexxus Scott, and Brayden Scott. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Goodwin; husband, Daniel Keith Cox; and brother, Chad Goodwin. A Gathering of Family and Friends for Michelle will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
