Michael David Lansford

A Funeral Service for Michael David Lansford of Independence, Missouri, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with Bishop John Ducker officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service at the church.

Mike passed away July 11, 2019, in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 41. He was born November 28, 1977, in Dumas,Texas, the son of Sharlene Gries Rockenstein. He worked in construction and most recently for Ford Motor Company in Kansas City, Missouri. He lived in the Kansas City area for 22 years after graduating from Mountain Home High School. He enjoyed hunting, archery, fishing and spending time outdoors. His constant companion was his beloved German Shepherd, Vinnie.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Mia Sharlene Lansford and her mother, Tami Lansford both of Blue Springs, MO; mother, Sharlene (John Rockenstein) Gries of Mountain Home, AR; sister, Amanda (Billy) Cooley and children, Colton, Emma and Case, of Mountain Home, AR; step-sister, Royalee Watson of Auburn, WA; step-brother, Kirk Gries of Sequim, WA; three uncles, Gordon (Phyllis) Lansford of Topeka, KS, David (Maurio) Fischbeck of Mesa, AZ and Rod (Rae Ann) Fischbeck of Salt City, UT; fourteen cousins, Leslie, Gordon and Becky Lansford and Jason, Tiffany, Daniel, Jaron, Courtney, Kevin, Mark, Marissa, Alecia, John, Eric Fischbeck, and father, Stephen Lansford of Idaho Falls, ID.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR, with David Fischbeck, Billy Cooley, Colton Cooley, John Rockenstein, Jeremiah Irish and Aaron Kizer as pallbearers.
