Marilynn Lee Matejka passed away July 9, 2018, in Lakeview, Arkansas at the age of 67. She was born June 3, 1951, in Cook County, Illinois, the daughter of Jack and Edith Robeck Smith. She married Michael Matejka on October 16, 1998, in Franklin Park, Illinois. Marilynn lived in Lakeview since moving from Bensonville, Illinois, in 2015. She enjoyed volunteering at the Christian Clinic and the Mountain Home Food Basket, traveling, boating, camping, and knitting. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Marilynn is survived by her husband, Michael Matejka of Lakeview, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Ryan Smith.
A Memorial Service for Marilynn will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018, from 1:00 until 4:00 pm, at the home of Marilynn and Michael.
Memorials may be made to United States Marine Corps Association.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
