Marie Laura McKinney

Marie Laura McKinney of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 17, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. She was born January 19, 1938, in Hermansville, Michigan, the daughter of Jesse and Laura Desotell Plunger. She married Darrell McKinney on April 20, 1957, in Berwind, West Virginia. Marie lived in Mountain Home since moving from Kansas City, Missouri, in 1978. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, talking with family, and her pets.

Marie is survived by her son, Douglas (Charlyn) McKinney of Springfield, MO; brother, Edward Plunger, brother, Richard Plunger, sister, Dorothy Plunger, sister, Donna Plunger; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell McKinney; son, Danny McKinney; brother, Harold Plunger.

A Graveside Service for Marie will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
