Marguerite Eileen Flowers

August 31, 1938 — June 18, 2022

Marguerite Eileen Flowers of Bull Shoals Arkansas passed away peacefully on June 18th, 2022. Eileen was born on August 31st, 1938 to Marguerite and Earnest Haggard. She grew up in Mississippi and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. In 1961, Eileen moved to San Bernardino, California to teach. She then moved to Northern California in 1967 where she taught the 7th and 8th grades for 35 years at Jefferson Elementary in Daly City. Eileen married Don Flowers on November 27th, 1975 in Millbrae, California. Eileen loved to travel. She enjoyed trips to Europe and Hawaii with dear friends and family, as well as weekends at the lake, Monterey, Santa Cruz Coast, and the wine country. Friday night dinners with neighbors and friends were a regular occurrence along with morning walks. She was always listening to music and was an avid reader. Eileen and her husband Don moved to Bull Shoals in 1992 from San Carlos, California because of their love for the area. They built a beautiful home together and had many wonderful years. She loved to spoil all who came to visit, especially her grandchildren during their summer vacation. Eileen is predeceased by her parents, two brothers, a sister, and her husband Don Flowers. She is survived by her stepsons, Don Flowers (Christina) and Greg Flowers (Cezanne); three grandsons Travis, Austin, and Derek, and two granddaughters, Giuliana and Francesca Flowers all of Burlingame, California. No services will take place, as Eileen requested, however, we do appreciate your love and support. We will be privately scattering Eileen’s ashes at the same location as her late husband Don Flowers. Our family cannot thank Flippo’s Carefree living enough for the love, support, care, compassion, and endless patients provided for Eileen and our family. We are so grateful to Teddie and her team for keeping us informed constantly. This has been a journey and they have stood by us every step of the way. We would also like to thank Hospice of the Ozarks in assisting in Eileen's final days. Eileen will be missed by all who loved and cared for her.
