Madie Cathleen Parsons passed away May 8, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. She was born February 3, 1937, in Philippi, West Virginia, the daughter of Carl J and Bertha C Hart Baker. She married Billy Parsons on February 17, 1952, in Greenup, Kentucky, and was a Transportation Supervisor and also worked for Dr. Neuman in Deland, Florida. Madie lived in Mountain Home since moving from Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. She was a Baptist and was devoted to raising her family.
Madie is survived by her two sons, Larry E. (Sherry) Parsons of Mountain Home, AR, and Garry W. (Cindy) Parsons of Kent, OH; daughter, Tarry (David) Graham of Orlando, FL; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Sharry Clingan; and sister, Ellen C. Mosher.
Funeral Services will be private.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
