Louis passed away April 6, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 90. He was born September 12, 1927, in Champaign, Illinois, the son of Louis and Mildred Wagner Pfeifer. He married Betty Burton and owned and operated Quarry Marina. He also worked for Champion Boats. Louis was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. Louis lived in Lakeview since moving from Illinois.
Louis is survived by his two sons, Mark Pfeifer of Mountain Home, AR and Ron Pfeifer of Indiana; step-daughter, Deborah Snooks of Illinois; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Alice Zerante of Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Pfeifer; and son, Michael Pfeifer.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
