Kenneth Charles Treat Sr.

A Funeral Service for Kenneth Charles Treat of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 pm, Friday, August 24, 2018, at Christ Community Church, with Dr. David Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 24, 2018, from 11:00 am until service time, at Christ Community Church.
Kenneth C. Treat of Mountain Home, Arkansas, died on August 21, 2018 at the age of 73. He was born on June 5, 1945 to Zetta and Floyd Treat in Gassville, Arkansas. He had six siblings, Kern, Keith, Kenton, Kathy, Kelley, and Betty Kay. He married his wife of 52 years, Ann, on January 19, 1966. He fathered two children, Becki Griffin and Kenneth Charles Treat, II. Kenneth loved his family deeply. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was generous to a fault, especially with his grandsons (and grand-dogs). His humor and smile were contagious. He was particularly fond of his sister Kathy’s delicious sweets.
Kenneth spent his entire career in the car business. He owned several car dealerships over the years and managed Kent Chevrolet of Mountain Home from 1985 to 1993. He was loud and quick-witted; he often practiced these skills with his friends who visited Treat Auto on a daily basis.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Ann Treat; daughter, Becki (Treat) Griffin and her husband Eddie Griffin; sister, Kathy (Treat) White and her husband Bill White; all of Mountain Home, AR. In addition, he has two grandsons, Brandon Griffin of San Francisco, CA and Blake Griffin of Dallas, TX; a niece, Christel (Harless) Benson and her family, and several other nieces and nephews, whom he adored.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, four brothers, a sister, and his son Kenneth C. Treat, II.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Community Church (C3), PO Box 2695, Mountain Home, AR 72654.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Steve Litty, Eric Hopper, Bob Crawford, Will Gregory, Jim Sommer, Dr. Joe Tullis, Ron Kincade, and Jack Gregory as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
