Joseph Donald Vettese

Joseph Donald Vettese of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away December 13, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. He was born January 1, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Salvatore and Agnes Vettese. Joseph was a U.S. Navy veteran. He married Norma Lee Bennett on November 24, 1960, in Waukegan, Illinois, and was a railroad engineer for Chicago Northwestern. Joseph lived in Arkansas since moving from Waukegan, Illinois, in 1994.
Joseph is survived by his five children, Robert (Suzy) Vettese of Lake Villa, IL, Debra Vettese of Beach Park, IL, Lori Wyrick of Flippin, AR, Joseph (Vicki) Vettese, Jr. of Antioch, IL, and Patricia (Brian) Crozier of Winthrop Harbor, IL; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two brothers, Salvatore and Marvin Vettese; and sister, Christine.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
