Jama Lynette Goode

Jama Lynette Goode went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 15, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 59. She was born February 18, 1959, in Aiken, South Carolina, the daughter of Jack and Hazel Sellers Enochs. She married Billy Ray Goode, Jr. on February 26, 1977, in Alvin, Texas and together, they had three children. She worked as a preschool teacher for many years and volunteered at multiple food pantries. In 2001, Bill and Jama moved from Texas to the Ozarks. She was a devout Christian who led several people to Christ and enjoyed photography, gardening, and playing pool. Most of all, she was a proud crappie jig fisherman, who loved to cook, entertain, and spend time with her family.

Jama is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Goode, Jr. of Gamaliel, AR; two daughters, Jennifer (Craig Patinsky and his son Anthony) Goode of Nixa, MO, and Cortney (Austin) O'Daniel of Nixa, MO; son, Billy (Barbara) Goode, III of Nixa, MO; two grandchildren, Emma and Gunnar; two brothers, Jerry (Judy) Enochs of Alvin, TX, and Joe Enochs of Alvin, TX; sister, Tina Macejewski of Rosharon, TX; half-brother, Robbie (Patrice) Enochs of Sosha, MS; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Pete Cobb; brother, Jack Enochs, Jr.; and sister, Jean Mudd.

A Celebration of Life for Jama Lynette Goode of Gamaliel, Arkansas, will be from 2:00 until 3:30pm, June 23, 2018, at the National Oak Park, 118 S. Magnolia Street, Alvin, TX 77511.

Jama's family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the staff of Highlands Oncology, Washington Regional Hospital of Fayetteville, and Baxter Regional Medical Center for the excellent care they all provided.
