Jack Pepper

Jack Pepper, formerly of Cotter, Arkansas, went home to be with our Lord on December 15th, 2020 in Lewisville, Texas at 87 years old.
He was born on February 21, 1933 in Trumann, Arkansas, the son of Willie and Novella Pepper. He was married to Kathryn Miller Pepper on June 25, 1955 in Hernando, Mississippi.
Jack retired after 37 years with Delta Air Lines in Memphis, Tennessee. Jack and Kay moved to Cotter, Arkansas in 1992 where they served as Senior Adult Ministers at Twin Lakes Baptist Church for 25 years. He loved fishing, serving others, making memories with his family and friends, and spending hours watching the White River flow down stream from his deck in Cotter. Jack was loved by all that knew him. He knew he was a greatly blessed and highly favored, imperfect child of God. His daily prayer in life was for his Lord to be glorified in and through him each day of his life.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Bobby) Mason of Highland Village, Texas; son, Jackie (Cynthia) Pepper of Cordova, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Alisha (Jeff) Brannan, Taylor (Christa) Mason, Cody (Jheri) Pepper, Micah (Joey) Woodruff, Hannah (Joshua) McClain, Morgen Pepper Reimann (Scott); 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Fears of Batesville, Arkansas and Patricia Walker of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his darling wife of 64 years, Kay Pepper; his parents, Willie and Novella Pepper; son Steve Pepper and six siblings.
A Virtual Funeral Service for Jack will be broadcast at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 27, 2020, on Jack's obituary page at www.kirbyandfamily.com with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Friends are invited to personally attend a Graveside Service at 3:30 pm, Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Taylor Mason, Cody Pepper, Jeff Brannan, Joey Woodruff, Joshua McClain, Hunter Mason, Cooper Mason and Barrett Brannan as pallbearers. Military Honors will be by the United States Army Honor Guard. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
The family requests in lieu flowers that donations be made to Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Mountain Home, in Jack Pepper’s memory.
