A Memorial Service for Harold Eugene Jorgensen of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Remil Layton officiating.
Harold passed away May 11, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80. He was born December 19, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Harold and Christine Bell Jorgensen. He married Marilyn Mushong on June 20, 1959, in Itasca, Illinois and was the owner and operator of Payless Auto. Harold lived in Mountain Home since 1983, moving from Streamwood, Illinois. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and going to Brenda's Cafe everyday to socialize. He loved babysitting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Debbie Johnson of Mountain Home, AR; three sons, Richard Jorgensen of Mountain Home, AR, David (Mary Jandick) Jorgensen of Eagle River, WI and Robert Jorgensen of Jefferson City, MO; three grandchildren, Christi (Tim McKelvey) Melton of Mountain Home, AR, Jana (Alex Kviklis) Jorgensen of Westmont, IL and Seth (Angie) Jorgensen of Twenty Nine Palms, CA and four great-grandchildren, Callista, Janessa, and Ceanna Melton and Novelle Pyfer all of Mountain Home, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marilyn Jorgensen; brother, Frank Vivirito; two sisters, Dorothy Maiola and Rose Amundsen and son-in-law, Jeffrey Johnson.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, 701 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, AR 72653.
