George Arthur Young of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away September 22, 2020, in Flippin at the age of 84. He was born July 26, 1936, in Newport, Oregon, the son of Harley and Jessie Cobbs Young. He married Lynda Reazin Niskern on May 31, 1974, in Lampasas, Texas and worked as a Maintenance Officer for the United States Army. George was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. George lived in Flippin since moving from Fort Worth, Texas in 2002.
George is survived by his wife, Lynda Young of Flippin, AR; and his children, Carl, David, Dale, and Lynda Gale.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Harley M. Young and Jessie M. Young.
