Gary Gilbert Gutmann

Gary Gilbert Gutmann of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away January 22, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87. He was born November 19, 1934, in Saint Louis, Missouri, the son of Gilbert and Dorothy Doughtery Gutmann. On June 28, 1952, Gary married Gloria Parker in St. Louis, Missouri. They were married for 35 years and together had three children, Greg, Geff, and Debbie. He worked for Crest Industries for more than 40 years. Gary moved from St. Louis, Missouri, in 1979, to be on the lake, where he enjoyed fishing. He loved spending time on the house boat with family and friends. Gary is survived by his son, Geff Gutmann, Sr., of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Debbie (Tim) Deimeke of Saint Louis, MO; eight grandchildren, Becky (Tim) Roesch, Joey Brussel, Jessica Deimeke, Genelle (Brian) Hines, Rachel (John) Biggs, Geoffry Gutmann, Jr., Theresa Landfair, and Lee Gutmann; twelve great-grandchildren, Caleb Roesch, Ashlyn Roesch, Ella Roesch, Aliana Brussel, Austin Gutmann, Landon Hines, Jack Hines, Ellie Biggs and her soon to be brother and sister, Desiree Holt, Micah Landfair; and three great-great-grandchildren, Jordan Roesch, Rome Holt, and Cash Holt. He was preceded in death by his parents; ex-wife, Gloria Gutmann; son, Gregory Scott Gutmann; granddaughter, Erica Shea Brussel. A Celebration of Life for Gary will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Heather Marsalis, Celebrant officiating. Due to current restrictions, masks are required. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
