Frances Vargas

Frances R. Vargas of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away August 21, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 78. She was born March 9, 1943, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, the daughter of Frank and Martha Avila Rodriguez. Frances enjoyed fishing, dancing, going to casinos, and dining out. She loved her four-legged children, Gummy and Negra. She was a high-spirited, caring woman that who was always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Rose Gomez, and Margarita Gomez; brothers, Joe and Ray Rodriguez; sisters, Anita Delarosa, and Olga Sanchez; grandchildren, Michel, Amy, Amber, Abel I, Abel II, and J.J.; great grandchildren, Armani, and Silas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Tony, and Ernie Rodriguez; daughter, Mary Gomez; and son, Fred Rodriguez.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Belvidere, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
