Florence Marie Sutterfield

Florence Marie Sutterfield of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away January 4, 2021, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 68. She was born July 24, 1952, in Marshfield, Missouri, the daughter of Walter and Nellie Lance Yocom. She married Jimmy Sutterfield on April 24, 1970, in Baxter County, Arkansas and worked for MarBax, White River, and Baxter Regional Medical Center Dietary. She was a member of the Cotter Church of Christ. When she was younger, she enjoyed spending time at the Cotter Spring. She was an avid sewer, and loved taking care of her great-granddaughter.

Florence is survived by her husband, Jimmy Sutterfield, Sr. of Gassville, AR; son, Jimmy Sutterfield, Jr. of Gassville, AR; daughter, Tammy Sutterfield of Gassville, AR; brother, Walter Yocom, Jr of Gassville, AR; three grandchildren, Jacob (Stormy) Ford of Flippin, AR, Summer (Isaac) Wachtel of Mountain Home, AR, and Devin Sutterfield of Prairie Grove, AR; and one beautiful, sweet, angel great-granddaughter, McKenzie Wachtel of Mountain Home, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Keith Yocom; and two sisters, Frances Lee and Carolyn Cook.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Friday, January 8, 2021, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ron Davenport officiating. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Bo Davis, BJ Davis, Cody Sutterfield, Zach Sutterfield, Ronnie Cook and Blaine Mattey as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Heath Davis, Randy Sutterfield, Billy Sutterfield, Ronald Cook, Arlin Cook, and Josh Fletcher. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
