Flora C. Frego

August 8, 1925 - February 19, 2021

Flora C. Frego, age 95, passed away on February 19, 2021 at Ash Flat Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Salem, AR. Flora was a resident of Arkansas after her marriage to Frank Frego in January of 1946 in Elkton, MD. After marriage Flora moved from Philadelphia, PA and lived most of her life in AR. She was born on August 8, 1925 in Queens, NY to Robert and Frida Hagermeister O’Brien. Flora was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro, AR. Flora enjoyed playing bingo and started her own business running a bingo game. She loved to fish and enjoyed painting, drawing, and reading. Flora is survived by her sons: Joe (Carla) Frego of Elizabeth, AR, John Frego of Vilonia, AR and James (Georgia) Frego of Jonesboro, AR.: daughters, Marie (Mark) Arnold of Jonesboro, AR Mary Saucier of Elizabeth, AR and Christine Frego of Clearwater, FL. Flora had 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Private burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR. She will be rested next to her husband. In lieu of flowers, please, send donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis TN.
