Evelyn Hicks

Evelyn Hicks of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away June 28, 2022, in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 66. She was born May 29, 1956, in Tutwiler, Mississippi, the daughter of Elzie and Lucille Blake Peeples. She worked as registered nurse and was a director in long term care. Evelyn lived in Mountain Home since moving from Mississippi in 1958. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and refinishing old furniture.

Evelyn is survived by her sons, Jason Hicks and Jamey Hicks; daughter, Kelli Hicks; sisters, Margaret Smith of Mountain Home, AR, and Vivian Davenport of West Helena, AR; brothers, Lewis (Susan) Peeples of Mountain Home, AR and Leroy Peeples of Helena, AR; grandchildren, Derrick, Cody, Tyler, Dylan, Caleb, Grace, Alex, Austyn, and Jade; and great-grandchildren Lexie, D.J., and Ella.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Wilburn; and brother, Lester Peeples.
