A Gathering of Family and Friends for Edwin Leo " Hoagy" Carlisle Jr. of Henderson, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, September 21, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Hoagy passed away September 15, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 58. He was born February 2, 1960, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Edwin and Betty Lavone Carlisle. He moved to Oakland when he was six and lived there most of his life. Hoagy resided in Henderson, since moving from Oakland in 2005.
Hoagy is survived by his wife, Penney of Henderson, AR, daughter, Jessica (Glenn) Blacksher of Henderson, AR, granddaughter, Kelley Blacksher of Mountain Home, AR, brothers: David Carlisle, Jimmy Keaton, and, Tony Anthony.
He was preceded in death by his; father, Edwin Leo Carlisle, Sr., mother, Betty Lavonne Betts, and three brothers; Alex Carlisle, Steve Carlisle, and Charlie Anthony.
Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
