Edward Lee Lloyd

A Celebration of Life for Edward "Ed" Lee Lloyd of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Bull Shoals United Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Dr. Fred Taylor officiating. Family and friends can also attend a Celebration of Life from 2:00 until 4:00pm, Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Heritage Assembly Church in Des Moines, Iowa.

Ed passed away May 15, 2018, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 75. He was born July 1,1942, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Edward and Evelyn Phillips Lloyd. He married Penelope Warren-Browne on June 27,1987, in Des Moines, IA and worked in production and management for Firestone Tire and Rubber. Ed was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Ed loved his life, his garden and his home, but mostly he loved Peni's home cooked meals.

Ed is survived by his wife, Penelope "Peni" Lloyd of Bull Shoals, AR; children, Ed (Stephanie Miller) Lloyd, Steven Lloyd and Jana Lloyd all of IA; stepson,Troy Magruder of CO; grandchildren Kyle and Christian Lloyd and great-grandchildren, Cali and Roman Lloyd.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael Lloyd and stepson, Christopher Magruder.

Military Honors will be provided by the United Air Force Honor Guard.
